# Salon du livre A-T - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `salondulivreat.com` ## Description The Salon du livre de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue (SLAT) is a regional literary event that brings readers, authors, publishers and the wider community together in Quebec. With more than 44 years of history, it organizes an annual book fair featuring over 125 authors, more than 100 publishing houses and a team of 300-plus volunteers. The event welcomes over 10,000 visitors and offers opportunities to meet familiar writers and discover new voices. Its program includes author talks, literary activities, broadcasts and family-friendly experiences, alongside a dedicated youth radio initiative. The SLAT also supports learning and reading through school visits, classroom workshops and a grand reading marathon. Its activities extend beyond the fair itself through literary prizes, including the Prix littéraire A.-T., and resources for exhibitors and visitors. The Salon provides information about authors, exhibitors, programming, partners and practical visitor arrangements. Its 2026 edition is scheduled for May 21–24 at Centre multisport Fournier in Val-d’Or. Through its public events and educational initiatives, the SLAT promotes books, reading and cultural encounters across the Abitibi-Témiscamingue region. ## Industries - 🍿 Arts and Entertainment - 🍿 Books and Literature _(under Arts and Entertainment)_ - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Literature _(under Science and Education)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/270712949655393) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOcU7-Zv-/w/153/h/60/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793587370401) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOcU7-Zv-/w/1076/h/1076/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793587370755) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #e21b24 | accent | | Valentino | #28124e | dark | | Cadet Blue | #a9b8c3 | light | ## Fonts - serif — asset _(custom)_ - serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
