SALT Collectiv is a non-profit organization formed by an international team of volunteers with diverse backgrounds. Our mission is to serve marginalized communities and individuals in society. Just as salt adds flavor and preserves, we strive to be the seasoning and support for the forgotten and vulnerable populations. Taking the first step to become salt in others' lives is all it takes. Since 2017, we have been serving the homeless, children in childcare institutions, and the elderly in need. Through our SALT Love Kitchen, we collaborate with local restaurants to prepare, pack, and distribute meals to homeless individuals at Taipei Main Station. Our goal is not only to fulfill their basic need for food but also to express care and concern for those who have been overlooked and forgotten by society. In addition, we engage in various community activities such as beach cleanups and the #GivingTreeTW campaign, which spreads the Christmas spirit to vulnerable groups like orphans, children with cancer and HIV, and individuals with disabilities.
