## Description

**Sampsonia Way Magazine** is the official in-house publication of City of Asylum, dedicated to promoting literary freedom and giving voice to persecuted writers. Named after a street in Pittsburgh that serves as a refuge for exiled authors, the magazine cultivates a vibrant literary community, fostering an environment where endangered writers can thrive and express themselves freely. Since its inception in 2019, Sampsonia Way has collaborated with the University of Pittsburgh, engaging students in the creation and editorial processes of the magazine.

Through a mix of interviews, articles, and literary works, the publication champions diverse perspectives and promotes expressions of resistance, particularly in the context of political and social challenges. Staffed by talented writers, editors, and students, Sampsonia Way Magazine serves not only as a platform for literary expression but also as a beacon of hope for those facing persecution. By encouraging responsible discourse, it aims to inspire change and celebrate the power of creative expression.
