## Description

Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization founded in 1970, dedicated to providing spiritual and physical aid to those affected by war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine around the globe. Guided by the biblical principle of helping those in desperate need, the organization operates various initiatives, including U.S. Disaster Relief, Operation Christmas Child, and World Medical Mission. They aim to share God's love through Jesus Christ while delivering essential resources such as food, medicine, and shelter to vulnerable communities.

With projects like The Greatest Journey, which offers discipleship training to children, and Operation Heal Our Patriots, focused on military families, Samaritan’s Purse promotes both humanitarian relief and the Gospel. Their comprehensive approach also includes educational initiatives in water and hygiene, construction projects, and medical services. Volunteers play a vital role in this mission, helping to ensure that assistance not only meets immediate needs but also fosters long-term community development and spiritual growth.
