## Description

Welcome to the Russian Sanskrit Community, established in 2005 by Dr. Marcis Gusuns, a prominent philologist with over 22 years of experience in Sanskrit studies. We offer comprehensive online Sanskrit courses starting from the absolute beginner level, with our next group beginning on January 14, 2025, and additional sessions in June and August. Our programs facilitate self-study through accessible resources, including free online courses available on VKontakte. 

Our community is dedicated to making Sanskrit education more widely available, providing academic materials such as classical dictionaries, reference books, and bilingual texts through our "Bibliotheca Sanscritica" series. We have successfully published around 20 books, funded through crowdfunding initiatives. Furthermore, we supply a variety of ancient Indian literature and offer resources on Devanagari fonts and text processing. With the largest collection of Sanskrit literature available in Russian, our goal is to ensure these essential texts are both affordable and accessible to all interested learners.
