## Description

Sandbakkehus is a specialised private therapeutic home in Denmark for children and young people experiencing psychosocial difficulties and psychiatric challenges. Sandbakkehus operates two departments. Villa Dahlia is a residential service in Vipperød for up to six children aged 6–15. Villa Ella, near Ringsted, offers support stays for up to six children aged 6–17 and includes a large garden for outdoor activities. The service is intended for normally developing children with conditions that may include autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, ADHD, attachment disorders, or co-occurring challenges. A consultant in child and adolescent psychiatry is affiliated with Sandbakkehus. The organisation also works closely with several schools, including Ulstrupskolen, Jyderup Private Heldagsskole, and Hjembækskolen, which many of its children attend.
