## Description

Sandwiched In Between is an online community for people raising children while caring for older loved ones—the experience commonly known as being part of the sandwich generation. Founded by Danielle Ansley, who has spent more than a decade parenting while caring for her parents, the community aims to help people feel less isolated and find support from others navigating similar responsibilities.

The community welcomes families of all shapes and sizes and recognizes that caregiving can take many forms. Members may be checking in on relatives, coordinating medical appointments and medications, arranging paid help, sharing a home, or supporting loved ones in assisted living or hospice. There is no single definition of family or caregiving required to belong.

Sandwiched In Between offers an online space focused on connection and resources for people balancing parenting and elder care. While the community currently operates online, it remains open to the possibility of in-person events in the future.
