## Description

Sangama is a renowned brand based in Bangalore with over 20 years of experience. They are dedicated to addressing critical issues related to gender identity, sexual orientation, sex work, and urban poverty. By bringing these topics into the public sphere, Sangama aims to contribute to the discourse on development, human rights, and socio-economic justice. Founded in 1999 and registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, Sangama operates with a clear vision and set of values. They believe in integrating non-homophobic heterosexuals and social activists into the movement for sexual rights, fostering a sense of inclusivity and equality. Collaborating with other social movements, Sangama seeks to build alliances for a larger struggle for justice, freedom, and equality. Sangama is committed to improving the overall well-being of economically disadvantaged and vulnerable communities, including transgender persons, sexual minorities, sex workers in Karnataka, and slum dwellers in Bengaluru City. They offer various projects and initiatives to support these communities and promote their rights. To get involved, Sangama welcomes volunteers, interns, and corporate partnerships. You can reach out to them through their head office or visit their website for more information. By supporting Sangama, you contribute to their mission of creating a more inclusive and just society.
