## Description

Sang Pour Sang Campus is a French initiative of the Fédération Sang Pour Sang Campus that encourages blood donation among young people and brings donation drives to university and school campuses. Working with students, educational institutions, local authorities, businesses, and Lions Clubs, the organisation helps make it easier for communities to take part in this essential act of solidarity.

Its activities include organising campus blood drives across cities throughout France and inviting volunteers to welcome and guide donors, serve refreshments, and promote donation. Institutions and local authorities can offer suitable campus venues, while businesses are invited to become partners. The initiative encourages people to donate blood, plasma, or platelets and provides information to help prospective donors understand what to expect. Its guidance notes that the donation itself takes under ten minutes, followed by a medical interview and a recovery break, with about an hour to allow for the full visit.
