## Description

Sankofa Mind Spa Recovery is a recovery and growth-focused practice based in St. Paul, Minnesota. It supports professionals who have used substances or other harmful behaviors to cope with stress, anxiety, and self-doubt, including people who have made progress but still find it difficult to sustain change. The practice offers individual and group services, with an approach tailored to each person’s values, motivations, and goals. Its work is intended to support emotional stability, behavioral adjustment, creative thinking, and lasting personal change, while respecting different paths to recovery.

Led by Nate Hurse, an addiction- and trauma-informed therapist and recovery coach, Sankofa Mind Spa Recovery also provides clinical consultation and supervision for behavioral health, mental health, and substance use disorder organizations. Beyond direct client support, the practice offers workshops and broader organizational support to encourage adaptive cultural and social change. This work can include trauma-informed practices, holistic self-care and stress reduction, and planning for organizational or team transformation.
