## Description

The San Silvestre Ciudad de León is a beloved sporting event that takes place annually on December 29th, bringing together both competitive and recreational runners from all over. Celebrating its XXVII edition in 2024, this event features various runs, including the main 7 km event and a 2.5 km option known as the Peque San Silvestre, designed for younger participants. Participants can register online, with sign-ups opening in early November.

This year's race not only promotes physical fitness but also supports a noble cause, with proceeds benefiting the Society of St. Vincent de Paul and its night shelter, "Calor y Café." Additionally, the event adds a festive touch with a costume contest, encouraging runners to dress up and compete for prizes. With a vibrant atmosphere and a strong community spirit, the San Silvestre Ciudad de León not only offers an exhilarating running experience but also fosters camaraderie and charity. Join the fun, take part in the race, and contribute to a great cause.
