## Description

The Santa Ana Historical Preservation Society is an active community organization dedicated to preserving and celebrating the history of the Santa Ana valley. It maintains the Dr. Willella Howe-Waffle House and Medical Museum, a historic home that offers visitors a connection to the area’s past. The Society also records and promotes the story of early Santa Ana and its important role in the birth and growth of Orange County.

Through events and publications, the organization makes local history accessible and enjoyable for longtime history enthusiasts and curious residents alike. Its website features information on the Howe-Waffle family and house, local historic landmarks and districts, notable residents, community institutions, and subjects ranging from medicine and aviation to fire service and family life.
