## Description

Santa Clara Aquatics Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the Santa Clara community through accessible aquatic facilities and inclusive programs. It brings together three nonprofit clubs—the Santa Clara Swim Club, Santa Clara Diving Club, and Santa Clara Artistic Swimming (Aquamaids) Club—alongside parents, coaches, and community members. The foundation’s central project is supporting the development of a new International Swim Center, following the closure of the George Haines International Swim Center. Through fundraising, community building, and public outreach, it aims to help create a modern aquatic home and ensure broad access to pool space. Its work supports aquatic needs for people of varied skill levels, from water safety and learning to swim to competitive aquatics. The foundation seeks to promote well-being, vitality, and excellence while continuing Santa Clara’s Olympic legacy. Community members can learn about its projects and history, follow news and updates, and contribute donations to help advance the swim center initiative. Donations are described as tax deductible; the foundation recommends consulting a tax expert.
