## Description

**Brand Description: Santiago en 100 Palabras** Santiago en 100 Palabras is a celebrated literary initiative founded in 2001 by Fundación Plagio and Escondida | BHP, aimed at encouraging residents of Santiago, Chile, to express their stories through brief narratives. This annual writing competition invites participants to craft tales of no more than 100 words that reflect life in Santiago. With over 50,000 stories submitted each year and nearly a million tales received to date, it has become the most significant literary contest in Chile. Besides the main competition, Santiago en 100 Palabras offers various awards, including categories for different age groups, and promotes cultural engagement through free workshops on micro-writing. The initiative fosters creativity and reflection among citizens while enhancing community ties through storytelling. Participants can submit their works online or through physical mail, allowing accessibility for all. As a testament to its impact, this project not only cultivates literary talent but also contributes to a richer cultural fabric in Santiago, solidifying its place in the city's identity.
