## Description

The Sarasota RC Squadron (SRQ) is a vibrant community dedicated to the joy of remote-controlled aviation, located in Rothenbach Park, Sarasota, Florida. Our facility boasts a professionally maintained 100 x 600-foot paved runway, ample pit areas, and several shade buildings, promoting an ideal environment for both novice and experienced pilots. We provide comprehensive support for our members, including pilot training, safety regulations, and access to resources such as an operations building and member directory.

As a member-driven organization, we prioritize safety and camaraderie, encouraging members to be actively involved in maintaining our flying field and upholding our clubhouse rules. Guests are always welcome, but we ask for adherence to our safety protocols. Our club hosts regular meetings and events, fostering a strong community spirit. Whether you’re looking to soar through the skies or connect with fellow aviation enthusiasts, SRQ offers a supportive and inspiring atmosphere for all.
