SARC (The Sexual Assault/Spouse Abuse Resource Center) is Harford County’s lifeline to victims, potential victims, and survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, child abuse, and stalking. Established in 1978, SARC has been providing a safe haven, advocacy, resources, and hope in Harford County. Their services include counseling, legal advocacy, safe housing, abuser intervention program, and a teen corner.

SARC offers a confidential environment of trust, respect, and mutual accountability without regard to race, creed, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, or economic circumstances. All services are offered free of charge, relying on community support to continue providing resources to those fleeing abuse. 24-hour Helpline and chat services are available.

SARC also offers various ways to support their mission, including donation, volunteering, and sponsorship opportunities. With the goal of eradicating and preventing violence, SARC works within the community and remains committed to making a difference in the lives of those affected by abuse
