## Description

Sarvashubhamkara is a small charity supporting people affected by leprosy and their families across the Indian subcontinent. Its name means “He who does good to all,” reflecting its mission to relieve poverty, sickness, and distress among people in need, while advancing education for children and young people in India and Nepal. The organisation focuses on communities that are often overlooked and excluded, using small-scale projects to provide practical, targeted support.

Its education work includes financial assistance through the Sarva Education Fund for students who are unable to access state education, as well as scholarships and bursaries. Welfare projects help disadvantaged communities meet practical needs and build greater self-sufficiency. Sarvashubhamkara also shares information about leprosy and its effects, and publishes a newsletter with updates on its work. Supporters can contribute through online donations via the Charities Aid Foundation or PayPal. The charity was co-founded by David Charles Manners, who wrote In the Shadow of Crows, a book featured by the organisation.
