## Description

The Southern Alberta Solosport Club (SASC) is a registered non-profit organization that promotes responsible motorsports and driver education in Calgary and the surrounding region. It organizes competitive driving days, instructional schools, and other events that give enthusiasts a closed-course setting to explore their interest in racing and develop safer on-road habits.

SASC specializes in autocross, a timed competition in which drivers navigate a temporary slalom course marked with pylons, one car at a time. Events welcome drivers of all backgrounds and experience levels. More than 300 individual drivers attend SASC events each year, supported by dedicated members and volunteers who help make each event possible.

The club aims to benefit the communities where it operates through local partnerships and sustainable event practices. Strict safety and noise guidelines are central to this effort. SASC also shares event results, club history, and season information, and invites prospective participants to connect through its Facebook group or Instagram page. Annual memberships are available through MotorsportReg, and the club publishes a schedule of upcoming events.
