## Description

**Saskatchewan History Online (SHO)** is a premier digital initiative dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history and culture of Saskatchewan. Launched in June 2011, SHO serves as a diverse resource with over 100,000 digital records sourced from more than 60 information providers, including libraries, museums, and private collectors, making it a vital asset for both researchers and the general public.

At the heart of SHO's mission is a commitment to identify, preserve, and provide access to a wide variety of documents, artifacts, and cultural assets from across the province. The project features a robust technological infrastructure that allows contributors to store and describe their collections efficiently, while users can seamlessly search through diverse digital exhibits and create personalized collections using the SHOcase feature.

With ongoing collaborations and user-focused improvements, Saskatchewan History Online continues to expand its digital footprint, ensuring that the province's heritage is accessible and engaging for future generations.
