Yayasan Sastra Lestari (Yasri) is dedicated to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of Javanese literature. Since 1997, we have been committed to digitizing and disseminating a vast collection of Javanese literary works, primarily focusing on texts from Central Java and surrounding regions. Our collection includes rare handwritten manuscripts (carik) and printed texts (cithak) dating from the late 18th century to the early 20th century, featuring both prose (gancaran) and poetry (tembang) compositions.

Through meticulous transcription and digital imaging, we've made these invaluable works accessible in Javanese script as well as Latin script. Our goal is to be a trusted digital resource where primary data on Javanese literature can be read, explored, and studied by all enthusiasts.
