## Description

Saucissons Australia by La Bastide is a Sydney-based artisan charcuterie brand founded and owned by Jean-Marc Amar, a former French executive chef. It brings the traditional French saucisson experience to Australia, making air-dried sausages inspired by the flavours and food culture of France. The range includes free-range pork saucisson, dry sausage, herb and pepper varieties, spicy saucisse, bâtonnets and 100-day-aged products, with mixed and bulk options also available. The brand has also presented an Australian-style kangaroo saucisson featuring native pepper and a paperbark wrap.

Its craftsmanship has received international recognition. At the 2023 Mondial du Saucisson in France, the Original Saucisson won gold and the 120-day-aged saucisson earned platinum. The brand also reports three silver awards at the 2018 competition, including recognition for its 100-day-aged and kangaroo saucissons. Customers can shop online, find the products at Sydney markets and selected events, or make wholesale inquiries. Nationwide express shipping is offered, alongside Sydney collection options at local markets.
