## Description

Save Barnegat Bay is a well-established brand that is dedicated to protecting and restoring Barnegat Bay and its ecosystem. Founded in 1971, the organization has been advocating for the health of the bay for nearly five decades. Initially focusing on resisting development and promoting conservation of open space, Save Barnegat Bay has expanded its scope to encompass the entire watershed. The brand aims to be a strong and independent voice for the bay, engaging over 3,500 members in educational programs and targeted advocacy campaigns. Save Barnegat Bay is known for its expertise, ability to collaborate with other organizations, and its credibility as a community-based nonprofit. The brand's dedicated team, led by Executive Director Britta Forsberg, works alongside elected officials and government representatives to address the various factors threatening the bay's health. With the generous support of members and donors, Save Barnegat Bay will continue its mission to protect and restore this natural, recreational, and economical resource for the community and all of New Jersey.
