## Description

Saved By The Sign (SBTS) is a Deaf-led intercultural consultancy and social enterprise focused on building belonging and advancing inclusion for racialised and marginalised Deaf communities. Its work challenges the treatment of these communities as an afterthought, bringing their perspectives into how people learn, connect and build together. Guided by care, culture, accountability and community, SBTS develops work that is Deaf-centred and culturally grounded.

The organisation works across media, advocacy and education, offering workshops, training, talks, creative projects and consultancy. Its projects include dialogue and education through The Social Inclusion Project, a podcasting initiative designed for Deaf audiences, and anti-racism education exploring race, identity, equity and belonging in Australian Deaf communities. SBTS also contributes commissioned articles and columns for Deaf media in the Netherlands and Germany, and engages with Deaf communities across borders.

Through immersive experiences and shared learning, Saved By The Sign aims to influence people and systems while supporting more inclusive futures.
