## Description

Saver Plus is Australia's largest and longest-running financial education and matched savings program, established in 2003 through a partnership between the Brotherhood of St. Laurence and ANZ. Designed for families and individuals facing financial constraints, Saver Plus helps participants develop lifelong savings habits while providing financial education tailored to their needs. By opening an ANZ Progress Saver account, eligible participants can set savings goals for education-related expenses and receive matched savings up to $500 upon achieving these goals.

The program not only equips participants with essential financial skills but also fosters a sense of control and confidence in their financial well-being. Over 61,000 people have benefited from Saver Plus, collectively saving over $30 million, with 84% of participants continuing to save long after their involvement. Community partners, such as The Smith Family and Berry Street, help deliver this impactful initiative nationwide. Furthermore, the Brotherhood of St. Laurence advocates for social justice and works tirelessly to alleviate poverty throughout Australia.
