## Description

Save Standard Time is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization dedicated to preserving the observation of longitudinally correct Standard Time. Established in 2019 by Jay Pea, following a surge in permanent Daylight Saving Time (DST) legislation, the organization operates on the commitment of volunteers and donor funding. Its mission centers on raising public and legislative awareness about the health, safety, and productivity benefits of maintaining Standard Time year-round, while advocating for the cessation of clock changes.

To achieve its goals, Save Standard Time partners with experts in various fields, including researchers, physicians, and educators. It is a founding member of both the Coalition for Permanent Standard Time and the International Alliance for Natural Time, collaborating with recognized organizations like the American Academy of Sleep Medicine. Their impactful advocacy has garnered accolades, including the 2023 Sleep Champion Award. By engaging the community and supporting legislative efforts, Save Standard Time works tirelessly to align timekeeping practices with scientific evidence for the benefit of all.
