## Description

The State Bar Association of North Dakota (SBAND) is the official statewide organization of North Dakota lawyers and, since its founding in 1899, has served the state’s legal profession and public. As the nation’s oldest unified state bar association, SBAND promotes justice and supports lawyers through practical resources, professional development, and opportunities to connect with colleagues.

For members, the association offers benefits, practice tools, legal resources, online forums, mentorship, networking, and community events. Its continuing legal education program provides seminars and webinars on professional and legal topics, including ethics and emerging issues. SBAND also shares news, legislative updates, and information about the economics of legal practice.
