# SBGFA - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `sbgfa.com.br` ## Description The Brazilian Symposium on Applied Physical Geography (SBGFA) is a national academic event dedicated to debating and sharing knowledge produced in Brazil in the field of applied physical geography. Established in 1984, it brings together researchers, students and educators to present research, exchange methods and consider how scientific advances can inform society and public policy. The 21st edition will take place from November 9 to 14, 2026, in Belém, Pará, coordinated by the geography undergraduate and graduate programs at the Federal University of Pará, with support from other regional universities and institutions. The program includes 12 thematic tracks, roundtable discussions and seven workshops. Participants can submit research for oral presentations or posters, propose short courses and workshops, and apply to present book launches. Workshops are designed to make scientific knowledge more accessible, particularly to students and teachers in public basic education. The event also provides opportunities to discuss research findings with peers and welcomes emerging researchers. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Earth Sciences _(under Science and Education)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id2BBp2CWB/w/241/h/209/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1791050163849) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Viking | #5bc0de | accent | | Science Blue | #0275d8 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ - Montserrat — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
