## Description

The Sociedad de Biología de Rosario (SBR) is a multidisciplinary scientific society founded in 1977 to bring together researchers whose work is related to biology. Its mission is to share members’ scientific research, support their continuing education, and encourage collaboration across biological disciplines. With more than 500 members, including established researchers, other interested participants, and university students, the society connects people working at institutions in Rosario and other parts of Argentina.

A central part of the SBR’s work is organizing annual scientific meetings and congresses. These events provide a forum for presenting research, exchanging information, discussing ideas, and building connections among research groups in Argentina and abroad. The society also promotes professional development, supports student participation, and recognizes outstanding research through awards in biomedical and agricultural fields. Its activities include congress resources such as registration information, author instructions, sponsorship opportunities, and books of abstracts. The SBR is governed by an elected board that coordinates the society and its annual events.
