## Description

Segelclub Blockland e.V. is a long-established watersports club based at the Torfkanal in Bremen-Findorff, opposite Bremen’s Bürgerpark. Founded in 1913, the club combines more than a century of boating tradition with a relaxed, welcoming approach to life on the water. Its activities bring together people of different ages and experience levels, from children and young people to adults.

Members and newcomers can take part in youth kayaking, adult paddling, recreational and sporting tours, and introductory or after-work sessions designed to make trying paddling easy. The club also offers capsize training and opportunities for canoe and kayak touring on Bremen’s waterways and beyond. For those drawn to powered boating, its motorboat section provides a community for skippers, local cruising and boat berths.

Beyond regular activities, the club organizes outings and social events, supporting an active community centered on nature, shared experiences and boating. Prospective visitors are encouraged to contact the club before coming, as it is a small association and someone may not always be on site.
