## Description

Ski-Club Kempten e.V. is a community ski club founded in 1908, serving members and winter-sports enthusiasts in Kempten and the surrounding area. Its activities bring together alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, ski gymnastics and club events, with a strong emphasis on training young people.

The Alpine department introduces children from around age six to recreational and competitive skiing. Its training group includes approximately 40 children, school-age participants and teenagers aged 6 to 18. The Nordic department offers group cross-country training for children and young people, preparing participants for regional competitions. Club training takes place weekly from May through March, with summer sessions at Bachtelweiher and winter training in Eschach.

The club also organizes competitions and community activities, including alpine and cross-country club championships, city races and the Kempten ski-patrol event. Its calendar features gatherings and seasonal celebrations, while news and results share updates on members’ achievements. A ski bazaar is among its regular activities, offering a community-focused opportunity connected with ski equipment and clothing.
