## Description

Sudden Cardiac Arrest Foundation (SCAF) is a vital non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the life-threatening emergency of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). SCA can affect individuals of all ages, often striking unexpectedly, even in seemingly healthy individuals like children and teenagers. The foundation focuses on educating the public about crucial lifesaving techniques, including the importance of immediate CPR and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs).

Through its various programs, SCAF provides essential training in CPR and AED deployment, aiming to empower bystanders to act quickly in emergencies, ultimately tripling the chances of survival for victims. The organization also conducts research, advocates for policy changes, and develops community initiatives like the HEART Champions Program, which fosters survivor support and awareness. By partnering with other organizations, SCAF is committed to making a significant impact in preventing SCA and improving survival rates, ensuring that anyone can play a critical role in saving lives.
