## Description

South Cerney Angling Club is an angling organisation based in and around South Cerney, Gloucestershire, in the heart of the Cotswold Water Park. Its waters and clubhouse are close to the village, about four miles south of Cirencester and between Swindon and Cirencester. The club manages a range of fishing venues, including Dabchick, Franklins, Gillmans, Ham Pool, Stait, Stanton, Walters and Whitefriars lakes, as well as fishing on the River Thames.

The club welcomes both members and visitors. Membership information, permit costs and fishing rules are available through its website, and day tickets are offered for selected waters. Anglers can also take part in club matches and events, with match dates and updates published online. The club provides coaching and hosts activities including the South Cerney Angling Festival for anglers with disabilities. Its fully licensed clubhouse, known as the Fisherman’s Rest, is open to members and visitors. The website also shares lake and fishing updates, news, galleries and contact details to help anglers plan a visit.
