## Description

Sciphyn provides robotic sludge removal and inspection services designed to keep industrial facilities operating while reducing the need for workers to enter hazardous spaces. Its Micro-Dredging approach uses remotely operated DredgeBots to remove sediment from tanks and other water-holding structures without taking them out of service. The robots use cameras, lighting and onboard suction to navigate and collect sludge while limiting disturbance to surrounding water. Sciphyn also offers ROV visual inspections, sludge mapping and ultrasonic thickness data collection, including floor readings from tanks that remain in operation.

The company serves a range of industries, including data centers, oil and gas, paper and pulp, steel, wastewater treatment and water treatment. Applications include fire-water tanks, storm-water ponds, cooling-tower basins and scale pits. Its equipment can be customized for many industrial tanks and reservoirs, subject to access and site conditions. Sciphyn also describes water-remediation and dewatering processes that can enable filtered liquid to be recycled and reduce the volume of waste requiring disposal.
