SCAN of Northern Virginia is a region-wide organization dedicated to preventing child abuse and neglect across Northern Virginia. With 35 years of experience, SCAN is committed to being a voice for children in the court system, providing support to parents when they need it most, and building institutions that protect children. They make child abuse prevention a community priority by offering a range of programs and services.

These include family programs, such as parenting classes and coaching, professional training for professionals to better protect kids, and child advocacy through their CASA program. SCAN also provides public education and resources for parents and professionals through workshops and a comprehensive resource directory.
