## Description

The Scarborough & Ryedale Astronomical Society (SARAS), established in 1976, serves the local communities of Scarborough and Ryedale in North Yorkshire. This vibrant society is dedicated to fostering a love for astronomy through a variety of engaging programs and events. SARAS offers public stargazing nights, workshops, and presentations that cater to both seasoned astronomers and newcomers to the field.
