## Description

Scatter Joy Acres (SJA) is a compassionate nonprofit organization located in Murray, Nebraska, dedicated to providing a new home and life for abused and neglected animals. Founded by Joy Bartling in 2005, SJA focuses on animal rescue and therapy, offering meaningful interactions for developmentally disabled children, seniors, and veterans. The ranch features over 65 animals, including alpacas, goats, horses, and even a camel, each with its own story and significance. In addition to its therapeutic services, Scatter Joy Acres hosts special events such as birthday parties and corporate outings, providing a serene urban oasis equipped with picnic areas, playgrounds, and hayrack rides. SJA also serves as a regional education site for Cowboy Ethics, teaching responsibility to youth through the Code of the West. Whether through animal-assisted therapy or engaging educational programs, Scatter Joy Acres spreads joy and healing, making it a unique destination for visitors seeking connection and solace through the power of animals.
