Southern Crescent Habitat for Humanity (SCHFH) is a nonprofit organization located in Jonesboro, GA. Our mission is to help low-income families in South Metro Atlanta find opportunity, stability, and improve their futures. We believe that safe, decent, and affordable shelter is crucial in breaking the cycle of poverty and providing families with a chance to thrive.

As a local affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, we work tirelessly to provide affordable homeownership opportunities to families in need. Through our homeowner education programs, which include financial literacy, we empower families with the skills and confidence they need to invest in themselves and their communities. Additionally, we partner with donors and volunteers to construct attractive and affordable homes and to repair existing homes.

We are proud to be part of a global movement that has built and repaired over 600,000 houses, serving more than 3 million people worldwide.
