## Description

Sarah’s Covenant Homes (SCH) is a nonprofit organization responding to the abandonment of children with disabilities and medical needs in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, India. Its mission is grounded in the belief that disability should not prevent a child from belonging to a family. SCH provides loving, family-based homes for children and adults who lack family support, including people with autism, blindness, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and epilepsy. The organization cares for 102 residents and offers physical therapy, special education, and medical care. For those who cannot reunite with family or be adopted, SCH provides lifelong support; others receive help transitioning to independent adult life. Residents may need daily medication, special diets, adaptive equipment, incontinence supplies, and ongoing caregiving, nursing, rehabilitation, and educational support. SCH invites individuals to contribute through donations, sponsorship of a child or adult, and in-kind gifts. Sponsorship starts at $25 per month and includes updates on the sponsored individual.
