## Description

Stichting Warmondse Schippertjesdagen organizes a free, family-friendly maritime festival at the Gemeentehaven in Warmond. The 2026 event is scheduled for September 11–13, when the harbor will welcome nostalgic tugboats, push boats, bakdekkers and other historic vessels. The festival celebrates maritime heritage while offering activities and entertainment for visitors of all ages.

The program includes a nautical market, demonstrations of classic ship engines, model-boat building for children and opportunities to sail aboard the steam tug Adelaar. Live music, performances and social events run throughout the weekend. Highlights listed for 2026 include tugboat-pulling contests, push-boat demonstrations, a vintage moped ride, a breakfast and several concerts and performances.

Admission is free, although some activities may request a donation or fee. The foundation invites visitors to support the event through one-time or recurring donations, helping keep many activities accessible. Nautical market participants and vessel owners can contact the organizers to register or ask about taking part. The festival takes place at Gemeentehaven 1, Warmond.
