## Description

Schlossplatzfest Coburg is a free summer festival that transforms Coburg’s Schlossplatz into a lively destination for food, drinks and entertainment. Its 2026 edition is scheduled for July 16–20, bringing together more than 800 artists for over 170 performances across two stages. The festival welcomes visitors to an open, shared event space with plenty of seating; guests can wander between food stands and choose a place to sit without making a table reservation.

The culinary offering spans regional Franconian classics from Ratskeller Coburg, sushi, Thai dishes, salad bowls, smash burgers, fries, pizza, tarte flambée, Mediterranean specialties and grilled food. Ice cream, crêpes, desserts and sweets round out the selection. Drinks include wines, aperitifs, cocktails, spritz variations, draft beer and non-alcoholic options, supplied by Residenzler Events and Kulmbacher Brauerei. The festival also provides an online programme booklet featuring artists, food vendors and event information. Sponsorship enquiries are handled by representatives of Residenzler Events. With its varied programme and open-access format, Schlossplatzfest offers a broad summer gathering in the heart of Coburg.
