## Description

Scholars at Risk is a brand dedicated to protecting scholars and promoting the freedom to think, question, and share ideas. They provide a range of products and services to achieve this mission. Firstly, they offer protection and advocacy for scholars facing serious threats to their lives, liberty, and well-being. By arranging temporary research and teaching positions at institutions in their network, Scholars at Risk provides sanctuary and assistance to over 300 threatened scholars worldwide each year. Additionally, they offer advisory and referral services to ensure scholars are supported throughout their journey. Furthermore, Scholars at Risk actively investigates and speaks out against attacks on higher education communities. They have established initiatives to identify, document, and take action in response to these attacks, benefiting not only scholars but also students and their education communities. To empower scholars and students, Scholars at Risk brings together faculty, students, and members of the higher education community to discuss academic freedom climates and develop solutions that preserve free inquiry and expression. With their commitment to protecting scholars and promoting academic freedom, Scholars at Risk plays a vital role in safeguarding the essential values of education and intellectual discovery.
