## Description

The Center for Scholarship Administration (CSA) is an independent nonprofit organization that manages scholarship programs for corporations, foundations, trust funds, and individual philanthropists. Established as a separate organization after its work began as a service of South Carolina Independent Colleges and Universities, CSA focuses on professional, cost-efficient administration and scholarship selection. It awards more than $10 million in scholarship funds annually, supporting students at over 1,000 public and private colleges and universities.

CSA tailors its services to each donor’s program. Its work can include developing and reviewing program guidelines, distributing and processing applications, responding to questions from applicants and educational institutions, and supporting scholarship selection committees. CSA also informs donors of winners, coordinates renewal eligibility, maintains recipient records, provides annual student progress reports, and arranges payments to colleges once required materials are received.

Students can review scholarship guidelines and instructions and apply online through the organization’s scholarship resources. Donors can choose the administrative services that best suit their programs.
