## Description

School of Ability is a registered NDIS service provider based in Ballina, supporting participants across Greater Sydney, the Northern Rivers and other areas of New South Wales. Established in 2018, the organisation says it has supported more than 50 participants and formalised its structure in 2024 to extend its reach. Its person-centred approach is designed to help people with disability build independence, confidence and meaningful connections in their communities. Services are tailored to individual needs, preferences and goals, and are available to NDIS participants who are self-managed, plan-managed or agency-managed. Support includes assistance with daily personal activities, household tasks, travel and transport arrangements, and the development of daily living and life skills such as cooking, budgeting and personal routines. School of Ability also offers innovative community participation programs and support to take part in community, social and civic activities. The organisation says its trained support workers focus on respectful, reliable care and quality standards.
