## Description

SchoolParrot is a pioneering review platform dedicated to enhancing transparency and trust within South Africa's education system. Founded in 2018, it empowers students, parents, and teachers to share their experiences and insights across more than 17,000 schools, contributing to a collective knowledge base of over 150,000 answered questions. By allowing users to write reviews and rate educational institutions—from pre-schools to higher education—SchoolParrot facilitates informed decision-making for families navigating the school landscape.

The platform is designed to bridge the expectation-reality gap, enabling reviewers to highlight both challenges and achievements within schools, thus fostering a more genuine understanding of each institution. SchoolParrot aims to create a supportive educational community where experiences are shared and voices are amplified, ultimately cultivating an environment of trust and accountability. Whether users want to advocate for improvements or celebrate the positive aspects of their schools, SchoolParrot provides a space for honest, unfiltered feedback that benefits all stakeholders in education.
