## Description

Schützengilde Schmieheim e.V. 1957 is a sports shooting club located in a quiet woodland setting in Schmieheim, Germany. The association brings together sports shooters, members, and people interested in discovering the sport, with an emphasis on concentration, responsibility, safety, and community. Its facilities include 25-metre and 50-metre ranges, as well as an air rifle range, all operated under supervision. The 50-metre range features a running boar target, an automated target retrieval system, and illuminated targets, while the 25-metre range offers duel and precision shooting. The air rifle range provides an illuminated indoor space for standing disciplines. Regular shooting sessions take place on Sundays, with the club open from 9 a.m. and shooting from 10 a.m.; visits at other times can be arranged in advance. Club life also includes competitions, a ceremonial king’s shooting event, social gatherings, and other events. Prospective members can arrange a personal conversation to learn about the club and application process. Gift cards are also available for visitors wishing to try the sport.
