# Schutzgemeinschaft Ammersee - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `schutzgemeinschaft-ammersee.de` ## Description Schutzgemeinschaft Ammersee e.V. is a nature conservation association dedicated to the Ammersee basin and its surrounding hills in Bavaria, Germany. The organization informs the public about the region’s landscapes, plants and wildlife through articles, photographs, reports and detailed annual publications. Its work combines habitat stewardship, species protection and environmental education. The association manages and maintains ecologically valuable sites, including species-rich meadows, and works to restore them where needed. Its species-support projects include measures for white storks, common terns, cave-nesting birds, sand martins and kingfishers. It also contributes land for conservation infrastructure, including the site of the Dießen birdwatching tower, which enabled people to observe a successful osprey breeding attempt in 2024 without disturbing the birds. Schutzgemeinschaft Ammersee has helped develop the Ammerseepfad, an educational trail featuring information panels and interactive displays about local nature. The group also advocates for wildlife-sensitive planning, including protecting vulnerable wetland habitats from unsuitable development. Through its projects and public information, it encourages understanding and care for the distinctive natural environment around Lake Ammersee. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 Environmental Science _(under Science and Education)_ - 🎗 Community and Society ## Links - [instagram](https://instagram.com/schutzgemeinschaft_ammersee) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOfsprAHZ/w/170/h/170/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793537798342) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idOfsprAHZ/w/100/h/100/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793537798520) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Ultramarine | #060fac | accent | | Cerulean Blue | #2864b1 | dark | | Marzipan | #f8d8a5 | light | ## Fonts - serif — asset _(custom)_ - serif — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
