## Description

**Brand Description: Schutzwald**

Schutzwald is an initiative focused on the sustainable management and preservation of Austria's forests, which are vital in combating natural hazards and promoting biodiversity. Under the auspices of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, Regions, and Water Management, Schutzwald develops comprehensive strategies and educational programs aimed at enhancing public awareness of forest conservation. The brand is instrumental in initiatives like the "Woche des Schutzwaldes" (Week of the Protection Forest), an annual event that emphasizes the significance of forests in ensuring community safety, fostering tourism, and supporting economic growth.

Schutzwald offers a variety of services including virtual forest tours, augmented reality applications like "Öswald," and innovative tools for geodata management through platforms such as WALDATLAS. These resources improve forest monitoring, facilitate climate change adaptation, and promote responsible forestry practices. By engaging the community in forestry knowledge and practices, Schutzwald underscores the essential role forests play in environmental sustainability and societal well-being.
