## Description

Sociedad Ciclista Vitoriana, also known as Gasteizko Txirrindulari Elkartea, is a cycling society based in Vitoria-Gasteiz, Álava. Established in 1955, it brings together people who enjoy cycling, outdoor activities and shared experiences. Its programme includes social cycle-touring excursions, opportunities to join rides organised by other clubs, and mountain outings, alongside cultural activities. The society also organises or promotes cycling events, including the Prueba Cicloturista Vitoria and La B.L.A.N., described on its website as the oldest cycling tour event. Members can access a social calendar, information about cycling rides in Spain and abroad, and a library of cycling books, newspapers and magazines. The society’s premises and social hall are available to members, and its website provides information about outings, reservations, membership and licence processing. Guided by principles of cooperation, participation, innovation and commitment to society, the organisation encourages safe, considerate cycling and mutual support on the road. Prospective members are invited to take part in its activities and enjoy cycling in the company of others.
