Founded by the Poppe brothers in the early 20th century, the club was established as a welcoming space for individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, setting it apart from other institutions of the time. The humble neighborhood of Ilhota played a pivotal role in the club's early development, fostering the growth of the team amidst a vibrant community. Overcoming challenges like frequent floods, the club moved to different locations before finding a permanent home at the famous Estádio dos Eucaliptos in 1927. This marked a turning point for Internacional, as they began to solidify their presence in the local and national sports scene. Throughout the decades, Internacional persevered through hardships, eventually emerging as a resilient and formidable force in Brazilian football. Their inclusive approach to talent recruitment, coupled with key strategic decisions, paved the way for numerous achievements and a steadfast legacy in the sport. The inauguration of the Estádio dos Eucaliptos in 1931 ushered in a new era for the club, underscoring their growing prominence and iconic status as the "Clube do Povo" (People's Club). With a strong connection to their fans and a roster of talented players, Internacional's journey is a testament to their enduring spirit and commitment to excellence. ## Industries - 📰 News and Media - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Soccer _(under Sports)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idT1GeILtZ/w/248/h/90/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1787328428439) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Alizarin Crimson | #d92638 | accent | | Carnation | #fb505b | light | | Hawaiian Tan | #a55919 | dark | ## Fonts - -apple-system — asset _(system)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
