## Description

**Sci Phi Journal** is a volunteer-driven platform dedicated to exploring the philosophical dimensions of speculative fiction, with a focus on idea-driven narratives. Launched in Australia in 2014 and revitalized in Europe in 2019, the journal is edited by Ádám Gerencsér and Mariano Martín Rodríguez from its base in Brussels, Belgium. Honored with the 2022 European SF Award for Best Magazine, Sci Phi Journal curates a diverse range of content, from theological fantasy to hard science fiction essays, inviting contributors from all backgrounds to partake in its unique dialogue.

Emphasizing freedom of expression, the journal champions works that prompt critical thinking and provocative discussions rather than character-driven plots. Its inspirations span from literary luminaries like Borges and Orwell to contemporary visionaries such as Liu and Robinson. Readers can immerse themselves in thought-provoking fiction and engaging essays or explore its sister publication, Revista Hélice. Sci Phi Journal provides an inclusive, ad-free space for speculations on existence and consciousness, promising captivating encounters for minds eager to wander the philosophical edge of the speculative landscape.
